Interest Relief

The National Treasury's collection agencies are responsible for the payment of interest relief. It is necessary to provide the relevant agency with information on a bank account into which the payment can be deposited.

Interest relief is determined by the Internal Revenue according to information provided in the recipients' latest tax return. The calculation of the amount of interest relief is done during the process of levying taxes and the payment date is the 1st of June.
